Daiwa Roynet Hotel Matsuyama

I have booked for the non-smoking room, but they arranged a smoking room for me

Good location convenient to shopping, restaurants and bus/tram services. Not specific to this hotel but Matsuyama exceeded our expectations as a tourist destination.

Onsen and breakfast! Room is quite big with twin bed

The location near the castle and the shopping street was great with lots of good food options. It was also very handily located near public transport. The room was regularly cleaned and a decent size.

There could have been more charging spots in the room. Otherwise, the hotel was pretty great. I did not like how the elevator kept opening at the lobby. Not a bad hotel at all, would stay again for sure.

Great location right next to Matsuyama castle, very polite and helpful staff.However it is facing a large traffic road which at night loud car or motorcycle can be heard quite often.Breakfast at downstairs restaurant was nice.

Parking on site is quite confusing to locate that I parked to wrong parking and had to pay for wrong one but then after being guided to hotel parking it is also charged 1200yen which honestly should be included in the night.

Dirty floors, sheets were questionably clean and the cleaning staff clearly didn’t remove the last guest’s forgotten items. The breakfast needs improvement, some of the dishes were cold when they should be hot.

Room was fine, a bit more expensive so a bit more spacious. The chairs in the room were very comfortable to use and much appreciated. Location is very central, almost ideal.

Some stumbling from other guests at night interrupted my sleep so I think that sound insulation could be better. Pillow was too thick so I used folded bathroom towel.

The carpet was extremely dirty, you don't want to take off your shoes in the room.

located in central location in Matsuyama. Within walking distance to the castle and many restaurants. Doggo onsen is a few tram stops away. Overall a pleasant stay at this hotel.

I found the bed too hard. When I turned on my side I was too light to sink into the bed at all which got quite uncomfortable. A topper on the mattress would make a huge difference.

The location is great! Near to shopping malls and eateries. The hotel breakfast is great too, with many varieties.The bathroom is very nice and big.

However, the bed is a bit small for 2 as it is near the wall.The car park is separated from hotel building and is those lift Car park.

The Best hotel in good location,nissan car rental, shopping street, amenities ..really worth for the money!

Excellent location, wonderful staff, very please stay. I often choose Daiwa Roynet chain for my stays while in Japan and am always very happy with it.
